This Privacy Policy explains how Clue Roo ("the app") handles information. This policy applies specifically to Clue Roo (Bundle ID: com.clueroo.ClueRoo) and does not apply to other apps.
Clue Roo is a kid-friendly seek-and-find game where players complete themed missions by finding requested objects and completing simple visual challenges. We built Clue Roo to work fully on-device, without accounts, ads, or an internet connection.
Clue Roo does not collect, transmit, or receive any personal information over the internet, because the app does not make any network connections. Your gameplay progress (completed adventures) and app settings (such as sound and haptics) are stored locally on your device only.
Clue Roo does not require or offer a user account, sign-in, or registration of any kind.
Clue Roo is designed to be played by children, typically under the supervision of a parent or guardian. The app does not collect personal information from children or from any user. The Parent Zone — where progress can be reset and the Privacy Policy and Support links are found — is protected by a parental gate (a simple math question) intended to require a grown-up's involvement before those areas can be accessed. Clue Roo does not include chat, messaging, user profiles, or any way for children to communicate with other people through the app.
Clue Roo does not display third-party advertising and does not use advertising or tracking SDKs. The app does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track users across other apps or websites.
Clue Roo does not use analytics services, crash-reporting services, or any other third-party SDK that collects or transmits data. The app makes no network requests of any kind, so no information is sent to us or to any external service.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, it remains there until you reset it from the Parent Zone, delete the app, or restore or erase your device. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data along with it, subject to normal iOS behavior for app data.
Clue Roo relies on the security protections built into iOS and iPadOS to help protect locally stored data. No method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Because Clue Roo does not transmit data over the internet, the main protection you control is the security of your own device, such as a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as the app changes. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
